Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information is collected when you use punittomar.com, why, and what your choices are. The site is run by Punit Tomar as an individual (referred to as “I” or “me”). I aim to collect as little information as possible.

Information you send me

When you use the contact form, you provide your name, email address, and the details of your enquiry. You can also choose to include a company name and budget range. This information is:

• used only to read and reply to your enquiry and any follow-up conversation;
• delivered to my email inbox using Resend, an email delivery service, which processes it on my behalf to send the message;
• not added to any mailing list, sold, or shared with anyone for marketing.

I keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting work, and delete them when they are no longer needed or when you ask me to.

Information collected automatically

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes technical request data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Abuse prevention

To prevent spam, the contact form temporarily keeps a record of the IP address that submitted it, in server memory only, for about 15 minutes. It is not stored in a database or used for any other purpose.

Analytics

I use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the site is used — for example, which pages are visited, which site referred you, your general location (country), and your device and browser type. It also records a few anonymous interactions, such as clicks on key buttons and outbound project links, and whether the contact form was submitted (never what you wrote).

Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies. According to Vercel, visitors are counted using a hash created from the incoming request that is discarded daily and cannot be used to identify you across days or websites.

Cookies and local storage

This site does not set cookies. If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so it is remembered next time. It never leaves your device, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Links to other websites

The site links to other services, such as Amazon (for books), GitHub (for source code) and live project demos. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave this site.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, or to object to how it is used. To make a request, contact me. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This website is intended for adults. Some of my products, such as coloring books, are made for children, but they are purchased through third-party stores and this site does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If the way this site handles personal information changes — for example, if new tools are added — this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
